The sexual revolution of the sixties began a slow, but certain death to the unbalanced parity between woman and man, in the acquisition of equality for control of major social institutions and economic resources. Women had finally been liberated to be just like men! 

This evolution of society and culture is to be a matter for rejoicing. What was really accomplished though, was a change in attitude regarding the perception that women were less than men in intellectual and physical resources. As seen by the male, who piloted most social institutions, it was that the difference between 'them' (women) and 'us' (males) was a deficiency. Women were not perceived to be as strong as men, they were not good at math, science, business, medicine and they were prone to irrational emotions! Hence, for most women, the opportunity to enter into educational institutions and theaters of business were limited, so as to never allow them the chance to prove they were just as good or better than the male. 

Yet when it came to running a household it was a quite different story. Women knew what to do there. The hours were long and the task near impossible, with creative ingenuity a must. The sacrifice women made of themselves to sustain a nurturing and comforting home environment, rivaled the martyrdom of the canonized saints. The center of the family, which escaped all prestige, was always the ever caring and most capable Mom, while the head of the house was, by virtue of cultural default, good old bewildered and bungling 'Dad'. The dependence on a woman to run the day to day functions of the family have long given rise to the realization of women's ability to manage people and resources. What higher level of skill can one possess than to administer the operation of the family, our societies highest esteemed institution. To such a degree was this delegation of duty, and recognition of skill, placed on the woman that it was common for a man to send his children away to be raised by family if his wife died. We know today that men are capable of raising children, but as stated above, there was an all important attitude of deficiency, even retrospectively, for the male! 

The word deficiency is not synonymous with that of difference. To assert her femininity and be a dominating player in society today, a woman does not have to dress like a man, in suits tailored after the masculine image of a Wall Street executive. She need not smoke cigars or be included in the 'good old boys club'. Women do not have to be just like men to be as good as they are. Unfortunately, so many women feel that they must project a masterful masculine image in order to beat the male at his own game. To offset the prejudiced illusion or assumption of deficiency, they try to diminish their feminine appearance, the appearance of difference. 

If she wishes not to, though, she may even escape the pursuit of an occupation that has been traditionally a mans place of employment and still reap success in life. It is good that the doors are opening in those institutions that were formally known to be for men only, as those women that wish to enter may do so now. It is not necessary, however, to take over the helm of these organizations for a woman to realize a triumph of glory for her dominant sex. 

Women have not needed to be in the front row of a battle charge, dodging bullets, to have a major impact on their world. History proves this out. Great men have risen and fallen because of the power a woman yielded in their life. Need anyone think of a better example than that of the current predicament of President Bill Clinton. Here is a man that made his way to the top of the most powerful country in the world and risked everything he had for the brief moment of pleasure alone with a young lady . The tragedy is that young Monica may fall a victim, instead of rising to victor, because she failed to take the liberty of influence her unique position could have awarded her. The fact is shown here that the male, needs to connect with a woman, because he has to be enveloped in that which is feminine to feel complete. 

What the real authority a dominant woman has, is not to emulate the masculine but rather disassociate from it. This will dictate control and manipulate power over the male far more efficiently than dawning a gray flannel suit. Female Domination, over the male sex, is about the celebration of femininity. Within the difference between the sexes is born the need for the male to be consumed by that which is feminine. All else is available to him, through his own means, except the mysterious intoxication of his ever dependence on a woman. With this passion he is hopelessly damned to the bondage of his lust, thus ever incarcerated within the walls of an inescapable cell with a woman holding the keys to his freedom. 

It has long been confused by many that do not understand D/s, that the platform on which the power exchange between the dominant and the submissive, has as it's foundation, the sexual goal of experiencing an orgasm. Those that have a true understanding of the dynamics of the life-style, know that this is not the case. The real impetus for those serious about D/s and Female Domination to be explored isonly the character of power. 

This is confusing to many. The same tool used for one, is observed in the other but their utility is for a different purpose. 

Although it is not a crime, and cannot be paralleled with the same destructive and deplorable results, Female Domination has one characteristic which is consistent with the above example. For those who hold affection for the practice of Female Denomination, the goal is not to ultimately obtain sexual gratification and orgasm.
